Paul Kling (b.Opava 28 March 1929[1]) is a Czech born American violinist. He was sent to Theresienstadt at the age of 15, where he was the violinist chosen to play in Viktor Ullmann's opera, The Kaiser from Atlantis, although the opera was never performed. Kling was transported to Auschwitz on 28 September 1944, but survived. After the war he became concertmaster of the NHK Symphony Orchestra and the Louisville Symphony Orchestra.[2]
